Erwin S. Morales

He is the Mission Assurance Lead for a strategic space systems program, responsible for verifying that spacecraft hardware and processes meet the reliability and quality standards required before launch.

He studied aerospace engineering at Cal State Long Beach, where he became active in the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) and MAES (Latinos in Science and Engineering) — the conferences and mentors he found through those groups, supported by Northrop Grumman's sponsorship, shaped his path into the company.

B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from California State University, Long Beach; M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from UCLA

He found his mentors and his way into the industry through student engineering organizations at a public university — the same kind of club/organization pathway a Hamptonian AeroPuente student could start building toward right now.
